About & contact

Have a question about the character counter, spotted a mistake, or want to suggest something? We would like to hear from you. The quickest way to reach us is by email at [email protected]. We prefer email, because it lets us check the details and reply with a proper answer.

Reasons to get in touch

We are glad to hear about any of these, ideally with a link to the page you mean:

• Corrections. Found an error in a result or a guide? Send us the page address and a short note on what seems wrong.
• Suggestions. Ideas for new options or features for the character counter are always welcome.
• Bug reports. If something doesn't work, mention your browser and device and the values you entered, so that we can reproduce the problem.
• Copyright. If you believe material here infringes your rights, see our DMCA page for what to include.
• Privacy requests. Questions about data and requests to exercise your rights are welcome; see our Privacy Policy for details.

Contact form

Nothing is sent by the site itself: the button simply opens your email program with the address, subject and text ready, and you decide whether to send it. If no email app opens, copy your message and send it to [email protected].

What to expect

• We cannot give personal engineering, medical, legal or financial advice about your specific situation.
• Your email address is used only to reply to you and is never added to a mailing list.
• Every message is read, and we answer whenever a reply is needed.
• Leave out any sensitive personal details that aren't necessary for your question.
• Ideas you share may help shape the character counter; sending one creates no obligation for you or for us.

Looking for something else?

The guides on counter-character.com explain the method behind the character counter and may already answer your question. For data questions see our Privacy Policy; for the rules of use, our Terms of Use; and for copyright, our DMCA page. Anything they do not cover is welcome by email or through the form above.
